Science Meets Pickleball
Lindi is a pickleball enthusiast (like… OBSESSED), and Ryan is a chemist. With that combination, RESET was pretty much inevitable.
Ryan has spent years specializing in cleaning solutions for polymers, textiles, and composites — the same types of materials used in modern pickleball paddles. For as long as Lindi has been playing, he kept saying the same thing:
“All that ball residue building up on your paddle is changing how the ball grabs the surface. You should clean that.”
So Lindi went searching. Everywhere.
She tried every cleaner she could find, read forums, asked around, experimented — but nothing really pulled the residue out of the paddle surface the way she wanted. Erasers worked… kind of. But they were abrasive, wore the surface down, and required way more scrubbing than felt good for a paddle she loved.
Eventually, after enough nudging, Ryan caved and decided to create something specifically for pickleball paddles. He spent the next year testing formulas, studying new paddle materials, and tweaking ingredients until it worked flawlessly with modern paddle technology — not against it.
And that’s when RESET was born.
